From an early age Brian Batoosingh (a Sonoma County native) was introduced to the world of Sound, Performance, and the technical aspects of setting up a show. Throughout High School Brian found a niche for himself in choirs, musicals, and an a cappella group. It was also in High School that he began to develop a passion for High Fidelity sound, as well as an admiration for high production quality. After majoring in Music at Sonoma State University and a career in Production, Brian had a moment of clarity on his way home from his honeymoon in Italy: To combine his love for music and service as a Wedding DJ. Now, Brian is proud to work with sound and be an integral part of his clients' special day.
Yes, we at Duet Events pride ourselves in excellent customer service. We encourage personal consultations and will contact you to set up a pre-planning meeting and final meeting. These meetings are important in the personalization of your event. The meetings will give you an opportunity to get to know your DJ and for your DJ to get to know you as well.
Outside of a 30 mile radius from our location there may be a travel charge. Additional charges may apply depending on location and/or event accessibility.
A non-refundable retainer is required to hold your event date and is due at the signing of your contract. The remaining balance due is required before the event. Acceptable methods of payment include: cash, personal checks, and major credit cards.
Music selection is a collaborative process between you and your DJ. We will work with you to determine your preferred musical tastes, styles, and artists and those which you do not prefer. Our goal is to ensure that the music played at your event is tailored to your personal tastes.
Our DJ’s are happy to take requests during the event unless the request is on your Do Not Play List.
Gratuities are not required but are greatly appreciated if you feel your DJ gave you excellent service.
